Enforcers Announce Return of Fan Favorite, New Slogan!

by Jon Kliment

ELMIRA, NEW YORK –The Elmira Enforcers of the Federal Prospects Hockey League are proud to announce that Sean Reynolds has signed on for the Enforcers second season.

Reynolds set career highs for himself in his first season in Elmira with 27 goals and 31 assists for 58 points. Sean also spent 11 games in Macon in the SPHL before his playoff run with the Enforcers. Reynolds entered the year, his second in the FHL, as one of the core guys on the roster and became a vocal leader in the locker room over the course of the season and playoff run.

When asked about coming back Reynolds had a quick answer. “The decision was really simple. We have one goal and we came so close last season. After that experience of losing in the finals we don’t want that again.” Sean said. “The fans were something special and something to be celebrated. It was so amazing game in and game out I can’t wait to come back.”

“Sean is an elite player in our league. He is one of those guys who gets you a goal when you need it and he has been a big part of our hockey team. I worked with Renny the last two years and he continues to impress year in and year out.” Coach Clarke commented.

The Enforcers are also happy to announce their new slogan for the 2019-2020 season “Serve and Protect.” As a nod to the hard working first responders and police officers far and wide in this country.

“It has been a goal of this organization to bring about a positive message and to be a core part of the community. There is no better emulation of that then the local officers who go out every day and make our city, county, state, and country a better place.” Robbie Nichols told media members. “The Enforcers will continue to attempt to make a difference in this community and look forward to the upcoming season!.”

The Enforcers will be heading back to First Arena this year as they attempt to claim the Commissioner’s Cup in their second season after making it all the way to the championship series before falling short against Carolina.
