by Jon Kliment

The Elmira Enforcers are beyond pleased to announce that they have chased down and beaten the 2017-2018 Carolina Thunderbirds single season attendance record for the FHL of 66,204 and now that the home portion of the season is over and no one else can catch our number, we are proud to announce that the new FHL attendance record sits at 94,118.

For reference, during the final five seasons of Jackals hockey at First Arena, the average attendance danced between 2,300 and 2,785. This year’s Enforcers attendance has averaged a stunning 3,137 fans per game.

“Our fan base is very passionate and we have seen that all season long. These numbers show that hockey belongs in Elmira and we are very proud to hold this record until next year when we hope to break it again.” Robbie Nichols said. “Thank you to all of our great sponsors, season ticket holders, and fans!”
