The Elmira Enforcers take on the other expansion team this season the Mentor Ice Breakers for the fourth time at First Arena tonight at 7:05 pm.

The Enforcers (11-10-0-3, 36 pts, .500%) will battle with the Ice Breakers (6-17-0-0, 18 pts,.261%) as they look to continue their domination of the season series having taken the first three matchups of the expansion battle already.

Tonight’s game is the fourth of ten meetings between the clubs this season.

 - Cameron Yarwood continues to be productive on the ice with a +/- of +17 this season

-  Séan Reynolds continues to lead the team in both goals and points 

- Glen Patterson scored his 5thgoal of the season last night in the Enforcers loss to the Thunderbirds


Forward Steven Fowler joined the Ice Breakers this weekend and tallied his first point in the FHL with an assist on the power play

With three assists on New Year’s Eve, defenseman Brody Duncan (1-10-11) became the third Ice Breaker to reach double-digit assists. Duncan and Thomas Devesvre are the two highest-scoring blueliners on Mentor’s roster, closely followed by Northern Ireland native Thomas McKinnon (3-6-9).  

Former Enforcer Derek Moser is tied with Carolina’s Christian Pavlas for the most shutouts in the league (3). Moser has started all but one game since November 24 and has accounted for all six Ice Breakers wins.
