The Elmira Enforcers face off with other expansion team this season the Mentor Ice Breakers for the first time at First Arena tonight.

The Enforcers (5-7-0-2, 17 pts, .405%) will battle with the Ice Breakers (4-9-0-2, 12 pts, .308%) as they look to rebound from the previous night’s loss to the Thunderbirds.

Tonight’s game is the first of ten meetings between the clubs this season.

ENFORCERS NOTES

- Marko Novosel is on a hot  streak as he has now scored 5 goals in his last 4  games

 - Cal Miska scored quickly Friday night just over 2 minutes into  the game he had the lone goal for the Enforcers

-  Séan Reynolds continues to lead the team in points, but has some competition for team lead in goals as Brandon Vuic tied him this last weekend as they both sit at 7.Reynolds also took the Penalty shot last night the first time in team history

ICE BREAKERS NOTES

Since leaving Elmira Derek Moser has gone 4-1 with a 3.15 GAA and .918 Save percentage 

Mark Essery leads the Ice Breakers in Goals (8) and  points (15)

Former Enforcer Joe Swenson has tallied 4 assists since arriving in Mentor

 

CONNECTIONS

Derek Moser and Joe Swenson were both early season Enforcers before going over to Mentor via trade
