The Elmira Enforcers welcome the FDNY to First Arena for the first time tonight at 7:05pm.

The Enforcers will battle with the FDNY as they both look to secure a victory before the Enforcers go into the final eleven games of their season, while the FDNY is tuning up for their annual game against the NYPD who the Enforcers saw a few months earlier.

Tonight’s game is the first ever meeting between the clubs.

ENFORCERS NOTES

- Tonight local Elmira Firefighter Eddie Palmieri will tend the crease for the Enforcers

- For the first time in Elmira history a number will be lowered from the rafters so that it may be worn again as Eddie Lowe dons an Elmira Jersey at First Arena for the first time since 2006

- Elmira college goaltender Charl Pretorius was recently named to the South African IIHF team for the second time in two years and tonight will back up Eddie Plamieri

The FDNY roster has three players who have played in the professional ranks, including Derek Kern who played in the UHL, CHL, SEHL, and EPHL

The FDNY roster features 11 players who have played 10+ years on this team
