The Elmira Enforcers look to secure home ice advantage as they begin a weekend battle the Watertown Wolves in the first game of a three game split series tonight at Watertown Municipal Arena.

The Enforcers (24-15-3-4, 82 pts, .594%) will battle with the Wolves (18-23-4-1, 63 pts, .457%) as they hope to keep control of the season series that is currently 5-2-1-2 in favor of Elmira.

Tonight’s game is the eleventh of fourteen meetings between the clubs this season.

PLACE: Watertown Municipal Arena


- Anton Lennartsson and Gavin Yates will both faceoff with their former team for the first time this weekend, the first time since being traded at the deadline for future considerations

- Troy Passingham has a .908 save percentage against Watertown this season with a goals against average of 3.44

- Stepan Timofeyev has 15 points against the Wolves this year and without Ahmed Mahfouz in the lineup will be looked to this weekend


-Yianni Liarakos continues to be a huge presence for the Wolves scoring 12 points in his 11 games in a Watertown uniform

-Tyler Gjurich continues his dominance of league leading categories as the leader in points (89), goals (42), and power play goals (10)

-Jared Rutledge has been solid in the net for the Wolves so far this season his 7-9-0-1 record include victories over both of the top two teams in the league


Justin Portillo played two games for Elmira this season before being sent to Watertown

Wolves netminder Scott Blake was part of a trade between the Wolves and Enfoorcers
